Lifespan Development I (Birth to Age 3)

This course focuses on the exciting early years of human development from birth to age three. Students will explore physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional growth during infancy and toddlerhood, while learning how family, culture, and environment shape development. A hands-on infant simulation using realistic baby dolls allows students to experience the responsibilities of caring for an infant and apply developmental concepts in a practical way. Through interactive activities and real-life connections, students gain a strong foundation for understanding how early experiences influence lifelong development.
